Merak Outlook Connector missing from Outlook 2003 toolbar

Answer The Merak Outlook GroupWare Connector is installed to the standard Outlook toolbar by default. If this toolbar is not visible then the Connector is not visible as well.

WORKAROUND

To fix this problem you should:

  1. Right-click the Outlook 2003 toolbar.

    A menu of available toolbars will open.

  2. Click the Standard toolbar to select it and make it visible.

    The Connector will now be visible.

  3. Click on Help -> About Microsoft Office Outlook -> Disabled Items (on bottom)

There enable eventually Merak Outlook Connector. In Outlook 2007 is the way shorter, Help -> Disabled Items

If you do not want to show the Outlook standard toolbar you can define a new toolbar within Outlook and drag and drop the connector to this new toolbar. Please see the Outlook help for more information on how to create and modify toolbars.
